Mary Moss

Mary Kathryn Moss, 66, passed peacefully in her sleep on November 14, 2024 due to complications of Breast Cancer. Born September 23, 1958 in Provo UT, to Theron and Jeanne Moss. Mary served her community in many ways, one of her favorites was volunteering at The Community Food Pantry in Sparks NV. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister Peggy Tingey. Mary is survived by her daughter Tobi Cristina Behar, brother Bob Moss, sisters Becky Moss, Jody Rolfson and husband Mel, Sara Otter and husband Bruce and Shannon Moss. Memorial services will be held on December 14, 2024 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church 1135 12th St. Sparks NV 89431. Mary's passion was cooking and serving, in lieu of flowers we request you feed your neighbor by donating to your local food pantry.

Mary's funeral December 14th at 2:00pm at St. Paul's Episcopal church in Sparks 
NV.  Sparks is a suburb of Reno. 1135 12th Street, Sparks NV

Mary died in her sleep November 13/14
There was no warning, she had been handling the chemo treatments for stage 2 Breast cancer.  
She was at her sister Jody’s house in Reno. 
Mary has a daughter, Tobi, who lives in California.

Mary is survived by her daughter Tobi, one brother& 4 sisters, preceded in death by one sister and her parents.

Thank you Becky for your posts. I'm so sorry that Mary passed away so young. You and your family are in my prayers. Do you think you'll be putting her funeral on Zoom? I'd love to watch it.

Mary and I were close friends in elementary school. We would race to get the swings at recess. Then we'd sing silly songs as we swung back and forth the whole recess. I'm guessing that we behaved well when we were together, becuse our teacher let us sit together in class. :)  Mary was so sweet. I wish I would have stayed in touch with her better. She will be missed!
