Comments:

I Worked for Utah Power and Light in the IT department for 22 years, at which time the company decided to outsource the IT department, forcing me into a career change. I now have a composite bachelors in physics, and geoscience, with a chemistry minor and a masters of geoscience. I currently teach physics and Earth science in Utah. Other than continuing my research on the sailing stones of the Racetrack Playa, building houses for my children, and playing with the grandkids, I spend free time riding bicycle (sponsored), and dabble with my photography. After fifty years of fear, shame, and guilt, my fears became reality and my secret was revealed by priesthood leadership. I experience gender incongruence and this encounter with the church has led to the life changing event of "coming out" as they say. I am transgender female and am now living my life as my "true self". My name is Bree and my pronouns are she, her, hers. <3

School Story:

Some of you may have heard this before, however, it's still funny.....
My senior year I took the weight training class, I don't know why other than trying to be "macho male", Ha! I was doing a "super set" or "stack" whatever it's called on the bench press. I did 5-10 reps with as much weight as I could and then my partner took ten pounds off and I did 5-10 again. This repeats until you are just pressing the empty bar. I remember struggling to bench press the empty bar when Denise Gibb walked through the room (on who of course I had a bit of a crush) and will never forget that she saw me struggling and said with dry tone: "wow, that's impressive"..........
