Blaine was born on October 10, 1958, in Boise, Idaho to George Jacob Buckway Jr. and Patricia Lorene Shaw.

He spent the next 40 years honing his craft and taking great pride in mentoring and training apprentice electricians.

More than just hobbies, these pursuits were opportunities for connection—ones he eagerly shared with friends, family and others. An active member of his LDS faith, Blaine’s testimony was woven into every part of his life. He served faithfully in numerous callings and gave generously of his time and talents throughout the years.
